Blackwork in Bloom

Blackwork stitching.

It’s not just thread on cloth—it’s a quiet kind of magic. One that tells a story with every counted square, every mirrored motif, every whispered hour spent needle in hand.

Rooted in the Tudor era, blackwork was once used to decorate the edges of garments… but here at Threaded Hollow, it’s how I bind healing into my blankets.

My silver silk trim will soon be embroidered with this timeless art—stitched by hand to join woven tops, lavender hearts, and soft fleece backs into something more than comfort.

Not just sewn. Sealed.
Not just a border. A thought.
Not just a stitch. A legacy.

Which motif should I try? Geometric diamonds? Spirals like the wind? Or lavender sprigs tucked in like secret prayers?
