Owyhee Mountains, 2017

Throwback to one of the most powerful days we've ever lived—when small hands met a scarred land and gave it new breath.

On the 1st of April 2017, Joey and I joined up with Idaho Fish and Game, their volunteers, and about 8 other scouts from 3 different packs. Together, we planted 1,200 sagebrush where the Soda Springs Fire ended in the Owyhee Mountains.

We had a blast!!
We got muddy. We laughed. We worked hard. And we planted for something bigger than ourselves.

This wasn’t just about putting plants in dirt. It was about healing the land. About restoring habitat for sage grouse and deer. About showing our kids that service matters. That even young hearts can do sacred work.

Now, years later, that hillside remembers us. The sage still stands. And this moment still shapes the way we live, farm, and dream.

This is what fuels the mission of Threaded Hollow.
This is what roots us.
And this is just the beginning.
